I need a vacation.

Listen up, parents.  Here are a few tips on how not to behave when enrolling your child in, well, anything.

Ahem.

1.  Do not assume that because a free-trial class flier doesn't spell it out in 20 point, all caps, bold typed English that it is okay to bring your child to nearly a quarter's worth of classes by simply submitting said fliers over and over.  Granted, we should have caught your little scheme by the second "free trial", but please tell me what makes you think that is an acceptable, honest way to behave?  Why would a business allow you "unlimited" free trial anything?  Does that make sense?!  Oh, and 1 3/4 years old is NOT the same as 2 1/2.

2.  Do not try to trick us by saying that we charged you twice for tuition when we didn't.  We aren't stupid.  We do have records of all that financial mumbo-jumbo.

3.  Do not get upset with us because our advanced fall registration is right when you are going to be out of town.  Sorry we couldn't accommodate your world tour schedule with our registration schedule.  You'll have to register with everyone else who couldn't manage to get in early.

4.  Also, don't get upset with us when the class you wanted to register for is full.  You had two whole months to get registered before classes started.  What do you expect signing up the day it starts?

5.  No, you can not have a refund for the quarter because your child doesn't like it.  You signed a contract.  See, right there?  That's your signature.   Also, last day to withdraw was three weeks ago.  Also, in the contract.

6.  Please don't call the photographer and/or videographer and ask them to focus on your child alone.  That's ridiculous.  Did you hire them?

I may be getting a little burnt out.  I'm not sure.
