Let's get things straight.

On the way to preschool yesterday:

Aidan, peering at me from his booster seat: "Mom, you kind of look like Tinkerbell today."

Me, admittedly pleased because, dang, she's cute: "Thanks, Aidan!"

Emily, chiming in:  "I'm Fairy Mary!  Aidan, you Terrance!"

Aidan, with a put out look on his face: "No I'm not!"

Me:  "You don't want to be Terrance?"

Aidan: "I don't want to be a fairy!  I want to be a car or a Transformer!  No, I want to be a car that transforms into a robot!"

Way to make his daddy proud!

Every Mom should be happy her son doesn't want to be a fairy, right? You do look somewhat like Tinkerbell btw.

I love a kid who knows what he wants.
