Make Up Your Mind

Conversation with Aidan yesterday regarding which container was going to hold his Cheerios (please keep in mind that there is only one container in this interlude):

"Aidan do you want Cheerios?"

"Yes." I begin to pour them into a cup. "Nother bowl!"

"Which bowl?"

"That bowl!"

"This bowl?"

"Yeah!" I begin to pour again. "No! Nother bowl!"

"Which bowl Aidan?!"

"That bowl!" He points emphatically at the bowl in my hand.

"This bowl?!"

"Yeah, that's right!" So I poured them in the same bowl we'd been discussing while he clapped his hands.

Glad we got that straightened out.

Those are the best. "Do you want cereal?" "No cereal!" "No cereal?" "No cereal!" "How about toast?" "No toast! I want cereal!" "you want cereal?" "No cereal!" moment of silence. "Mama, I want cereal." Ah, toddlers.
